Hello! I am Registered Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists since 2017 (#4758). Previously, I completed undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Social Work, and a Master of Education degree in Counselling Psychology with a focus in Addiction and Mental Health. I have worked in the mental health field since 2010 as a Mental Health Therapist and have been in private practice with Associates’ Counselling since 2018. Over that time, I have had the opportunity to support individuals across the lifespan with a wide range of presenting concerns, helping them navigate emotional, behavioural, and psychological challenges.
I have a particular interest in working with anxiety and mood disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), disruptive behaviour/conduct problems, and neurodevelopmental disorders, such as attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and fetal alcohol spectrum disorder (FASD). I also support individuals experiencing stress, emotional regulation difficulties, anger, and trauma-related concerns.
My goal as a Registered Psychologist is to help people alleviate distress, build on their strengths, and improve their overall well-being. I use a person-centered approach that emphasizes empathy, genuineness, and collaboration to work toward meaningful change. I also integrate evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and trauma-informed therapy to best meet each individual’s unique needs.
I look forward to the opportunity to meet with you and support you in achieving your therapeutic goals. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at Associates’ Counselling Services using the email or phone number provided below.
